1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how EZ Workout ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile fitness application.

EZ Workout is a workout tracking app that helps you create routines, log training sessions, view progress, and adjust preferences (language, units, theme, rest timer). Your workout data is stored on your device.

The App is free and supported by ads. It shows advertising provided by Google AdMob, and offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove ads") that disables ads. This policy explains the data involved in both. We do not operate user accounts and do not receive your workout data on our servers.

3. Information the App processes

3.1 Workout data you provide (stored on device). Stored on your device only: workout routines, workout history (completed sessions, exercises, reps, weights, duration, timestamps), preferences (units, rest timer, theme, language), and randomly generated local IDs (UUIDs). This data is not transmitted to us.

3.2 Advertising data (via Google AdMob). To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) collects and shares your advertising ID (a resettable device identifier) and related technical data (e.g. device information and IP-based signals used for ad delivery and measurement). This data is used to serve ads, limit ad frequency, measure performance, and prevent fraud and abuse. It is shared with Google and its advertising partners for these purposes. See Google's advertising policies.

3.3 Purchase data (via Google Play + RevenueCat). If you buy "Remove ads", the purchase is processed by Google Play billing. We use RevenueCat to validate the purchase and manage your entitlement. RevenueCat receives purchase-related data such as the purchase token, product ID, and a pseudonymous app-user ID, in order to grant and restore your ad-free status. We do not receive your card or full payment details — those are handled by Google Play.

3.4 Data we do not collect: name, email, phone, or address (no accounts); card / full payment details (handled by Google Play); precise geolocation or GPS; photos, camera, microphone, or contacts; health platform data (Apple Health, Google Health Connect); your workout logs on our servers.

4. How we use information

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your workout logs for advertising or profiling.

5. Consent for ads (UMP / GDPR / LGPD)

On first launch (and where legally required — EU/EEA, UK, Brazil), the App shows Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form so you can make ad-personalization choices. Your choice affects whether you see personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Buying "Remove ads" disables ads entirely. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

6. Sharing and disclosure

7. Storage, retention, and security

Workout data is stored locally (SQLite + AsyncStorage) and remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data transmitted for ads and purchases is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. The Android release sets usesCleartextTraffic: false and allowBackup: false. To remove local data, uninstall the App or clear its storage in system settings.

10. International users

The App is available internationally, including Brazil and the United States. Ad and purchase data may be processed by our providers (Google, RevenueCat) in the United States and other countries. By using the App you understand this cross-border processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
